Astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson is one of today’s most prominent public figures championing science and critical thought. Currently head of the Hayden Planetarium in New York City, he is also an active scholar and author, a television and podcast host, a frequent go-to expert for the media and has served on the NASA Advisory Board. Whether bringing gravitas or humor to the topics at hand, Tyson always draws from his research interests, including star formation, exploding stars, dwarf galaxies and the structure of our Milky Way.

You’ll be educated—and entertained—by Tyson’s ability to transform complex ideas into common sense. His presentation will be followed by a brief Q&A with the audience.

This is an all-ages show, but guests should note that some material may be considered PG-13.
